How to PlayThe Fat Diamond Table is your dealer in a game played against other players at the same table.
How do I ...? 1. Join a game: Insert the magnetic card given to you by the administrator. Magnetic stripe facing up. If there is a game already in progress you will be asked to choose between Post the big blind to join the game" on the next hand or "Wait for the big blind to join the game" when the big blind comes to your position (see Rules for details)
In
the screen "you" as a player are situated in the center of the screen;
the player at your left hand side will be shown left to you in
the screen and the player on the right hand will be on your right on the
screen. When it is
your turn to play (after the blinds
were paid) your cards will turn red, (like the image on the left) otherwise
your cards will be yellow (like the image on the right) 3. “Your screen” Each screen is divided into 3 sections. The top portion of the screen is common to all players. The lower portion is specific to your play. In the lower left with the “Card Concealment Cover” will be your “hole” or down cards. To view your cards simply lift the cover while protecting view from other players. The lower right is your play control screen. Here is where your options for play are shown. To activate the selections in the area simply touch the screen with a finger. 4. Start a game:
The Administrator will start a game once sufficient players join the
table. In some cases the game will start automatically
once a preset number of players have joined the table. "After a hand finishes, a new hand will be dealt
automatically; always based on the game type active in the Table"
5. Determine the dealer:A card will be dealt face up to each
player and the player with the highest card will be the
dealer (first dealt if there is a tie). A "button" 6.
Posting the blinds: The blind must be posted by the players
to the left of the dealer. If this is you then you will be prompted with
a “Post Small Blind” or “Post
Big Blind” as
required. Simply touch the screen on the button to activate.
7. Where are my cards: Under the flap on the lower left corner of the screen you may find your cards. Tip: use one or both hands to cover your cards while lifting the flap to avoid other players from seeing them; the same way you would do in a regular Poker game. 8. Where are the community cards:
The community cards are shown in the top portion of your
screen as play dictates; these cards will be seeing by all players. (see
image below)
After the
blinds are posted active players in the hand will have cards shown at
their respective positions in the upper portion of your screen. The red
set of cards
A play-time limit could be imposed, if so, make
sure to play before the time runs out".
Time limit is indicated by a red bar on the right side of
the "play" screen, where the maximum time is represented by a full red bar;
once the bar hits the bottom the time is over and a default decision will
be made (blind dues are force to be paid, otherwise the hand will fold). 10. Know how much is in the pot: Each time a bet is placed the amount will be shown in the Pot, located to the left side of the screen. Side pots, if any, will be shown to the left of the bet options (lower right corner of the screen) 11. Know the last player Action: color:white'>The player in turn will have red cards at their position and the light on top of the table will be "ON". Once a bet is placed the action will be reflected in any of the following ways: (Amounts shown bellow the player's nickname indicates the current stake, the amount at the top indicates how much that player has bet in the current round)
12. Muck or show my cards: At the end of every hand you may be asked to decide whether to show your cards or not . "Muck" will not show your cards, although you may still win if you decide to muck your cards. "Low" and "High" will show only one card based on your selection. There is a time restriction to decide (progress bar on the right hand side), once the progress bar reaches the bottom, a default decision will be made for you (usually muck, but ultimately depends on the Administrator settings)
13. Determine who won the hand: Once all players participating in the game have decided about showing or not showing their cards, a winner will be determined and shown as follow: (lower right corner of your screen, notice that you may scroll the screen using up or down arrows)
14. Know what to do with tax deductions: Some jurisdictions may set a taxable amount that will indicate a starting point for tax collection. Please ask an attendant if taxation is active in this jurisdiction. After winning a hand you may "View Last hand" (explained below) to verify any tax amount deducted from your winnings. Ask the attendant for tax receipt procedure. The total amount paid in taxes will show in your account once you check out at the cashier. 15. 16. Dispute a decision: If for any reason you believe something was not right, please contact the Administrator. The Administrator has the ability to check the last 50 hands including the mucked cards, unlike a regular player. |
